The Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Center is a privately & locally owned/operated orthopedic specialty practice located in Wentzville, Missouri. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant for our daytime team. The ideal candidate is dedicated, engaged, dependable, and exhibits a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.We are currently hiring for:
•Daytime Veterinary Assistant:
Monday-Thursday Primary Responsibilities May Include:
- Obtaining medical history from clients and assisting veterinarians during examinations
- Running basic laboratory tests/submission of outside tests
- Assisting in obtaining radiographs
- Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and surgical suites
- Safely restrain and handle patients
- Client communication and patient follow-up
- Preoperative and Postpoerative patient care The information in this position description indicates the general nature of work to be performed.
