The Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery Center is a privately & locally owned/operated orthopedic specialty practice located in Wentzville, Missouri. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant for our daytime team. The ideal candidate is dedicated, engaged, dependable, and exhibits a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
We are currently hiring for:
Daytime Veterinary Assistant:
Monday-Thursday Primary Responsibilities May Include:
  • Obtaining medical history from clients and assisting veterinarians during examinations
  • Running basic laboratory tests/submission of outside tests
  • Assisting in obtaining radiographs
  • Preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and surgical suites
  • Safely restrain and handle patients
  • Client communication and patient follow-up
  • Preoperative and Postpoerative patient care The information in this position description indicates the general nature of work to be performed.
