We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician who is passionate about animal care and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Established, respected veterinary practice in Southaven, MS Supportive, team-driven culture Opportunities for growth within Innovetive Petcare Fast-paced, rewarding work environment Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures Safely handle and restrain animals during medical care Place IV catheters and administer vaccines as directed Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures Provide compassionate patient care and ensure animal comfort Maintain accurate medical records and treatment notes Communicate effectively with clients regarding care and treatment plans Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites Support overall clinic workflow and efficiency Skills Knowledge and Expertise Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician preferred Proficiency in: IV catheter placement Vaccine administration Proper animal restraint techniques Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance Strong client communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Passion for animal welfare and high-quality veterinary care We're seeking someone who is dependable, compassionate, and eager to grow in the veterinary field.
