This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who thrives in an environment where every day looks a little different. •At least one year of experience is required.•
What You'll Do:
Work side by side with our veterinarian during exams, procedures, and surgeries. Confidently calculate and administer medications and treatments under the veterinarian's supervision. Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and provide skilled patient monitoring. Support the flow of the clinic by assisting with calls or client communication when needed. Maintain clean, organized exam and treatment areas that are fully set up and ready for use. Run lab tests, collect and analyze samples, and maintain accurate patient records. Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia, and provide attentive post-op care. Handle patients safely and with empathy and confidence throughout all treatments. Perform diagnostic imaging (radiographs, etc.) as needed. Assist with kennel care, feeding, and general patient comfort. Educate and support pet owners on wellness, nutrition, and home care.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant (formal training or on-the-job). At least one year of experience is required. Strong understanding of veterinary procedures, terminology, and patient care. Organized multitasker who can stay calm and focused when things get busy. Excellent communicator who enjoys connecting with clients and coworkers alike. Compassionate, respectful, and genuinely dedicated to helping pets feel their best. A true team player who brings positivity, reliability, and a sense of humor to the workday.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
