Cleveland School Animal Hospital is a thriving small animal practice seeking a veterinary technician/assistant for a long-term position. We are looking for a personable and dependable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have at least 1 year experience in order to be considered for this position. Registered technician a plus! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: restraining animals for examination and treatment, performing diagnostic tests and imaging, gathering and recording pet case histories, administering vaccinations and medications, monitoring anesthesia, dental prophies and dental radiology, and assisting the doctors in surgery. Applicant must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. Experience with Cornerstone software a plus, but not required.

Practice amenities include:

In-house blood work machines, digital radiology and digital dental radiology, ECG, surgical laser, therapy laser and ultrasound. Candidate should possess knowledge of medical terminology, medications/preventatives, vaccination schedules etc. and should be comfortable with client education. Candidate should also have excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette. We are looking for a full-time candidate. This full-time position requires 34-40 hours per week. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 am

•5:30 pm. Typical schedules are 4 days a week. Flexible schedules also available. We strive for a work life home life balance

•No emergency duty or holiday duty. No boarding animals. No grooming.

NO SATURDAYS!

!! Compensation based on experience.
