Job Description

Pet Emergency & Trauma Services is looking for experienced Emergency Veterinary Technicians and Assistants to join our quirky crew. We have a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working as part of our team, you have the opportunity to fully utilitize your skills while providing compassionate care to our patients. Duties include triage and stabilization of incoming emergencies; obtaining patient histories; providing patient treatments, ICU nursing care of hospitalized pets; performing diagnostics (in-house labs, X-rays); client communication from phone call to discharge; and hospital facility upkeep. Requirements:
You have a minimum of three years veterinary experience with at least one full year of ER experience You are a multi-tasking, focused ninja warrior You consider yourself a lifelong learner - always looking to add skills Chocolate ingestion cases create the sudden urge to grab something tasty from the breakroom You are a crackerjack active listener and can adjust your communication based on the situation Can work well under pressure You are known for your innate compassion for both animals and people You were socialized well as a puppy and can play well with teammates A sense of pride in helping provide high quality, compassionate care is important to you Your blood type is Dark Roast + and ER is your vibe Compensation is dependent on experience and is competitive in today's tight market. Complete benefits package for full-time; part-timers have some benefits as well, including earning PTO.
