We are privately owned and have built a reputation for providing gold standard feline medicine in a calm, low-stress environment.
We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant to aid us in providing exceptional care. What We're Looking For Previous experience working as a Veterinary Assistant preferred Experience with AAFP Cat Friendly and/or Fear Free handling and restraint techniques; certification is a plus Understanding of feline behavior, including ability to recognize and appropriately respond to fear, anxiety, and stress Proficiency in surgical preparation and assistance, anesthesia monitoring, patient recovery, and instrument sterilization Experience collecting, preparing, and processing a variety of diagnostic samples and laboratory tests Ability to capture high-quality digital radiographs Confidence assisting veterinarians during appointments and anticipating the needs of the doctor and patient Proficiency administering medications through oral, intravenous, and subcutaneous routes Working knowledge of DEA and OSHA regulations and veterinary safety protocols Ability to maintain accurate, thorough, and timely electronic medical records using ezyVet Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills Compassionate and professional communication with clients and team members Willingness to contribute to cleaning, sanitation, stocking, and kennel responsibilities as part of a collaborative team Ability to lift 40 lbs. unassisted and remain standing or seated for extended periods Comfort working in a clinical environment with exposure to noise, odors, animal waste, infectious diseases, and the potential for bites or scratches A team-oriented mindset and genuine commitment to providing compassionate, low-stress care to feline patients "Their professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and genuine compassion set them apart" Google review We understand that a fulfilling career should leave room for the people and activities that matter outside of work.
