happy employees create happy clients and healthier pets. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, hardworking, and reliable Full-Time Kennel Assistant to join our team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our patients receive excellent care while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hospital and boarding facility. Our hospital is open Monday through Sunday, so candidates should be comfortable working a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Feed, water, and care for boarding and hospitalized pets Walk dogs and monitor patient comfort and cleanliness Clean and sanitize kennels, treatment areas, and hospital spaces Assist veterinary assistants and technicians with patient handling and restraint Monitor pets for signs of illness, stress, or discomfort and report concerns to medical staff Launder bedding, towels, and hospital linens Maintain a clean and organized facility Provide compassionate care and attention to every patient What We're Looking For Genuine love for animals and their well-being Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and spend extended periods standing, walking, bending, and cleaning Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required Benefits $200 annual pet care credit (up to two personal pets) Free exams and bloodwork for your pets 20% discount on additional veterinary services Access to discounted Royal Canin, Purina Pro Plan for Professionals, and Hill's pet food 3 sets of company scrubs and a company jacket after 90 days Flexible scheduling with a focus on work-life balance Paid Time Off (PTO) - and time to actually use it Opportunities for growth within our veterinary team Why Join Us?
