Overview CareVet of West Fargo| West Fargo, North Dakota Join our 5 -doctor team for a paid externship

• designed to give veterinary students valuable, real-world clinical experience in a supportive hospital environment. About Our Hospital CareVet of West Fargo in West Fargo, ND, we provide exceptional care with a personal touch. As a student extern you'll join a supportive, collaborative team that values your input and prioritizes professional growth. Our modern facility and diverse range of cases offer opportunities to expand your skills while making a real impact in our growing community.

Our modern facility features:

6 exam rooms Ultasound Digital xray Dental equipment Laser Therapy In-house laboratory Surgical suite Pharmacy Location West Fargo and nearby Fargo offer plenty of group activities, including bowling, escape rooms, laser tag, arcades, and go-karts at places like Fargo Escape Room, Kingpinz Social, and Thunder Road. For outdoor fun, students can explore local parks and trails, play pickleball, or visit Rendezvous Park and other West Fargo Park District facilities. Fargo also has a lively college-town atmosphere with NDSU events, live entertainment, sports, restaurants, and attractions like the Fargo Theatre and Red River Zoo. Responsibilities As an extern, you'll learn alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians while gaining exposure to: Wellness and preventive care Surgery and anesthesia Dentistry Diagnostics and laboratory services Urgent care and medical cases Client communication and patient care Qualifications Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
