Ralston Vet is looking for a Veterinary Care Representative (VCR) who enjoys working with people and animals, communicates well, and thrives in a busy veterinary hospital. As a VCR, you'll be part of the entire veterinary experience, from welcoming clients and scheduling appointments to assisting veterinarians in exam rooms and supporting patient care. At Ralston Vet, we're committed to Serving Every Family Member, Every Time , and our VCR team plays an important role in making that happen. What You'll Do Client Communication & Service Welcome clients, answer phones, and respond to texts and online requests. Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and process payments. Communicate veterinary recommendations, treatment estimates, and financial options. Help clients feel informed and supported, even during difficult situations. Exam Room & Patient Care Prepare exam rooms and gather patient histories, weights, and vital signs. Assist veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians during examinations. Help educate clients about preventive care, treatments, and follow-up recommendations. Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats using low-stress techniques. Assist with basic patient care, sample collection, and outpatient procedures as trained. Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms. Teamwork & Daily Operations Accurately document patient information and client communications. Use veterinary software and digital communication tools throughout the day.
