BRAND NEW CLINIC
Snoots isn't a typical animal hospital. We're a membership-based practice built on one simple idea: that pet owners should be able to speak with a vet as often as they need, without the worry. No surprise bills, no putting off the visit, no guessing games, just great care, included. We've grown to six clinics in London on the back of that promise, and now we're bringing it to the US, starting right here in Clifton. We're looking for two Veterinary Care Assistants to join our founding New Jersey team. This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity
  • you won't be slotting into someone else's system, you'll be helping shape how Snoots runs from day one.
What you'll do You'll be at the heart of the clinic, making sure every pet and every owner has a brilliant experience from the moment they walk in. Hands-on patient care — supporting our vets and technicians with restraint, sample collection, and treatments, always with patience and compassion for the animal in front of you. The backbone of the team — anticipating what the medical team needs before they ask, keeping the day running smoothly, and stepping in wherever you're needed. A welcoming front door — helping members with check-ins, scheduling, and questions, and making the Snoots experience feel as easy and reassuring as the membership promises. A clinic to be proud of — keeping our space clean, safe, and well-stocked, and looking after our equipment to the standard our members expect. What we're looking for A high school diploma or equivalent. A calm, unflappable approach
  • you can keep your composure when the clinic is busy and the day doesn't go to plan. Confidence handling pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Strong organizational and communication skills, and genuine warmth with people as well as animals. Some experience in core veterinary skills
  • handling, lab, pharmacy & stock
  • is a real plus, but the right attitude matters most. We'll back you to grow the rest. Why Snoots Be a founding team member. You'll help launch Snoots in the US and have a real say in how this clinic works
  • not just inherit how it's always been done.
A model worth believing in. Our members can bring their pets in early and often without dreading the bill, which means you get to practice the kind of proactive, preventive care that's good for animals and good for the soul. Room to grow. We support professional development and will back the right person who wants to train further down the line. Looked-after pets of your own. Discounted veterinary care for your own animals, because of course.
