We're looking for a compassionate and hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver outstanding service. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry patients.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures. Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately. Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Monitoring and caring for animals during their stay. Providing support with administrative tasks, such as updating patient records. Educating pet owners about proper care and treatment plans. Cleaning is a must during and after shifts to and above standards. Marketing locally to different businesses and client call backs and referral program performance. What We're Looking For We're seeking a dedicated individual who meets the following qualifications:
Experience:
At least 6 months-1 year of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Language Skills:
Being bilingual is preferred to better serve our diverse clientele. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care.
