Job Description

Part-Time Surgical Veterinary Nurse Are you a skilled veterinary nurse with a passion for surgery and patient care? We are seeking an experienced Surgical Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team at a busy, fast-paced, three-doctor general practice located in beautiful Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Our practice performs surgery twice weekly, and we are looking for a confident, capable nurse who can seamlessly support our surgical services while providing exceptional patient care to match our rigorous standards.
Requirements:
Surgical experience is required Comfortable monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgical procedures, and managing surgical patients from admission through recovery Ability to perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs Ablilty to perform phlebotomy and IV catheter placement Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with another nurse Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Position Details:
Part-time hours available immediately Potential for full-time employment including office hours outside of the OR Additional per-diem opportunities available Competitive compensation with pay based on experience Paid time off, employee discounts
