Are you a compassionate, detail-oriented veterinary technician or assistant who loves helping pets and people? Our growing veterinary team is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our clinic! About the
Role:
You'll work primarily in our exam rooms , assisting doctors with patient care, client communication, and treatment plans. Experience or interest in surgical support —such as anesthesia monitoring, prep, and recovery—is a big plus!
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting veterinarians in exams and treatments Collecting samples and performing basic lab tests Administering medications and vaccines Educating clients on pet care and preventative medicine Supporting the surgical team as needed (prep, monitoring, recovery) Maintaining accurate patient records and a clean, organized workspace
Ideal Candidate:
Certified or experienced veterinary technician or assistant Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate and professional with clients and patients Eager to learn and grow in both exam room and surgical settings Surgical experience
