Veterinary Assistant or Technician Grow Your Career Where Quality Comes First Ruidoso Animal Clinic is proud to be the only AAHA-accredited animal hospital in the area, delivering high standards of medicine and compassionate care to every patient we see. We're privately owned and non-corporate, which means decisions are made here — not at a headquarters across the country. We value teamwork, accountability, and work-life balance. With the recent addition of a satellite location, we're expanding and looking for the right person to grow with us. Experience is preferred — but if you're motivated, dependable, and ready to learn, we're willing to train the right self-starter. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, dentistry, and treatments Safely restrain and handle patients Collect and prepare lab samples (blood, urine, fecal) Administer medications as directed Maintain accurate patient records Keep treatment and surgical areas clean and organized Educate clients on preventative care and treatment plans Support the team in a fast-paced clinical environment Occasional weekend or on-call availability may be required. What We're Looking For Upbeat, proactive, and dependable Strong multitasker who stays calm under pressure Team-oriented with clear communication skills Detail-focused with a genuine compassion for animals Veterinary experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate RVT license a plus Day shift availability required. Must be able to commute to Ruidoso, NM.
