Duties Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety for both animals and staff during examinations and procedures Support veterinary technicians with medication administration, sample collection, and laboratory procedures Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques within treatment areas to uphold clinic hygiene standards Help with pet care tasks such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and monitoring animal behavior Support kennel operations by caring for hospitalized animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their stay Qualifications Prior kennel experience or animal husbandry background is highly desirable Experience working in a veterinary clinic or with veterinary technicians is preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, pet care practices, and animal handling techniques is essential Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medication administration, and aseptic techniques is a plus Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as dog handling and animal restraint confidently Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
