Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant Pay:
$18.00-$20.00/hour,
DOE Schedule:
Full-time We are looking for a friendly, client-focused Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant to join our Dental Specialty Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is primarily reception-based, with occasional assistance to the medical team. Ideal candidates are warm, upbeat, and compassionate -Someone who enjoys helping both people and pets.
Responsibilities:
Client Service (Primary Focus) Answer multi-line phones and schedule consultations or dental procedures Greet clients warmly and provide a positive, professional experience Maintain accurate patient/client records Triage client concerns and relay information to the DVM or technicians Occasional Animal Handling & Clinical Support Assist with gentle restraint and patient comfort during exams Monitor patient well-being when needed Help with basic tasks such as restocking, running lab samples, or recording vitals (as trained) Team Support Work cooperatively with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff Maintain a clean, organized workspace Stay positive, willing to learn, and supportive of team workflow Marketing Support Assist with social media posts and basic client engagement content (with training and owner consent) What We Are Looking For 1-2 years' experience in a veterinary reception or veterinary assistant role Warm, friendly, client-focused personality Strong communication and multitasking skills Calm, professional demeanor in all situations Strong attention to detail
