Animal Emergency and Specialty Center provides 24-hour emergency care, critical care, surgery, chemotherapy, and animal rehabilitation care to the patients of over 75 referring hospitals from Northern Nevada and California. Our region is growing, and we are looking for skilled technical veterinary assistants who can provide optimal patient care for our growing emergency and specialty center. A minimum of two years of veterinary assistant experience is required. We are looking for someone who practices exceptional medicine and makes patient care the highest priority. In addition to exceptional patient care, we pride ourselves on clear and thorough client communication, especially during critical situations AESC is a drug-free workplace. This position requires weekend and holiday shifts. We are hiring for overnight shifts. A full-time position will result in: Generous compensation: $21-24+/hour based on skill, experience level, and shifts worked. Overnight shifts have a shift differential of an added $2/hour compensation. Holiday pay of time and a half Signing bonus of $2000 with 2+ years of full-time veterinary hospital experience Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Health Insurance up to $800 per month Paid Dental and Vision Uniform allowance : Annual scrub allowance of $500 and a $160 annual shoe allowance Generous employee pet discount Opportunity to participate in our retirement plan Continuing education: Annual continuing education allowance of $800 Animal Emergency and Specialty Center is a unique place.
