What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll support patient care and hospital flow by: Assisting veterinarians and LVTs with patient care Preparing exam and treatment areas Helping with safe, compassionate patient handling and restraint Obtaining accurate patient histories Supporting appointments and procedures Preparing patients and supplies for treatments and surgery Assisting with diagnostic procedures as appropriate Caring for hospitalized and recovering patients Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital Communicating observations and patient needs to the medical team Educating and communicating with clients within your role Helping the team maintain an efficient flow throughout the day Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have a genuine passion for veterinary medicine and patient care Are compassionate and patient with animals Want to continue developing your veterinary knowledge and technical skills Enjoy learning and receiving feedback Ask questions when you don't understand something Communicate well with teammates and clients Can stay organized and focused in a busy environment Take initiative and look for ways to help Understand the importance of attention to detail Are dependable and follow through on responsibilities Believe that every patient deserves to be treated with kindness and respect Previous veterinary experience is preferred, but we're also interested in candidates with a strong foundation, the right attitude, and a genuine desire to grow in veterinary medicine.

Compensation:
