Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our busy and fast-paced animal hospital team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, takes pride in keeping a clean and organized environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support our doctors, technicians, and clients.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care Restraining dogs, cats, and exotic pets for examinations and treatments Cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and common areas Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, and general hospital upkeep Restocking supplies throughout the hospital Assisting with patient admissions and discharges Helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment Supporting the medical team with daily tasks as needed
Requirements:
Veterinary experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate Must be comfortable handling animals of all sizes and temperaments Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the day Strong work ethic and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Please Note:
This is a hands-on position that involves a significant amount of cleaning and hospital maintenance. Keeping our hospital clean and sanitary is just as important as assisting with patient care. Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
