The ideal candidate will support our veterinary team by providing excellent care to our animal patients and assisting with various clinical and administrative tasks. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment. Monitor and record vital signs and patient information. Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff. Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and notify staff when restocking is needed. Provide compassionate care and comfort to animals and support to pet owners. Assist with laboratory work including sample collection and processing. Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a safe and clean environment. Qualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician Assistant or in a similar role preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong animal handling and restraint skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively. Compassion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care. Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus. Work Environment This position requires working in a busy veterinary clinic where teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude are essential.
