Join Our Team! Brookville Animal Hospital Proud partner of CareVet We're looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our busy, collaborative team. We're a two-doctor practice with a wide variety of cases and a team that works hard, supports one another, and enjoys what we do. We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, compassionate, and ready to jump in and help. What you'll be doing Your days will be varied and hands-on, including things like: Animal handling and restraint Blood draws and in-house laboratory work Obtaining and documenting patient histories Patient treatments and monitoring Surgical and anesthesia assistance Dental assistance Radiographs and other diagnostics Medication preparation and patient care Hospitalized and boarding patient care Client education and communication Working alongside our doctors and team to keep things moving What we're looking for Someone who is: Reliable and hardworking Comfortable in a busy environment A good communicator and team player Eager to learn Able to take initiative and step up when needed Compassionate toward patients, clients, and coworkers Veterinary experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person.
