Veterinary Assistant

Are you an experienced Veterinary Assistant or have experience in working with animals? Do you have a great attention to detail and a passion for providing great customer service? Our locally-owned, small-animal Veterinary hospital is currently looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team of professional and compassionate individuals. We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong ability to multi-task while being both efficient and thorough
• Experience with animal handling and restraining is not required, but is preferred
• Is well-spoken and approaches his/her job duties in a mature manner and without constant supervision
• Believes that pets are a part of the family and deserve high-quality medical care
• Has a positive can-do attitude and likes to work as a team to provide the best care to clients and patients
• Has excellent communication & organizational skills
• Strives to go the extra mile to help make a business run smoothly
• Has a minimum of one year of working in a pet-related business
• Is at least 18 years of age and has a High School Diploma (further education is preferred)
