The Animal Hospital of Delhi Hills is looking for a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for animal lovers , or anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in the veterinary field. No previous veterinary experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced veterinary assistants, technicians, and doctors to help provide exceptional care for our patients.

Responsibilities include:

Safely restraining dogs and cats during examinations and treatments Assisting with patient care and handling Preparing vaccines and treatment supplies Filling prescriptions under supervision Helping maintain a clean and organized hospital environment Interacting with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner Assisting with lifting and moving patients and supplies (up to 50 pounds) Supporting the veterinary team with daily hospital operations What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who is: Reliable and punctual Responsible and trustworthy Friendly and professional with clients and coworkers Detail-oriented and organized Eager to learn and grow within the veterinary profession Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments Qualifications high school graduate, college student, or equivalent Reliable transportation required Previous customer service experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Schedule Part-time Evening shifts as needed Monday through Friday No weekends Benefits Flexible scheduling Hands-on veterinary experience Opportunities for advancement and additional training Great exposure for students interested in veterinary medicine, veterinary technology, animal science, or related fields How to Apply Please provide your resume and tell us your favorite dog or cat name in your application.
