We are a well-established, 2 doctor veterinary clinic located in Fairborn, OH. We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team providing superior medical and environmental care for the animals staying at our facility. Compassionate care towards our patients is our highest priority. We are looking for an experienced Assistant for to join us part time or full time. The Veterinary Assistant primary role is to assist the Veterinarian and RVT in medical support and plays a vital role in achieving greater efficiency in overall patient care within the practice. The Veterinary Assistant will apply their skills to assist in monitoring surgeries, dental cleaning, diagnostic imagery, laboratory testing, patient nursing care, administering medication, and client education. The Veterinary Assistant will assist the RVT with procedures such as suture removal, nail trims, vaccine administration and lab work when a doctor exam is not required. Veterinary Assistants must enjoy working with animals along with people and value the care provided at TCAC. The right person for this role will have good interpersonal skills and promote a positive work environment. This role is fast-paced and often requires significant communication and multi-tasking.
