Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our veterinary team. This role involves providing exceptional care to our animal patients while delivering friendly and efficient service to clients. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure Assist veterinarians with animal examinations, treatments, procedures, and filling prescriptions as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and kennels Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and client communication efficiently Provide basic animal restraint and care under supervision Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide information to clients professionally Ensure the safety and well-being of animals in the clinic at all times Support team members with various administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations Must be dependable, have a strong work ethic, be motivated, and a driven individual to succeed in this role Qualifications Prior experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment Dependability and strong work ethic are essential qualities for success in this role Motivated and driven individual with a positive attitude Basic knowledge of animal handling and care is advantageous but not mandatory Must be able to work flexible hours as needed This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal welfare who are eager to grow within a supportive veterinary team.

Pay:

$13.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
