Job Description
We are a small-animal exclusive, multi-doctor practice that offers advanced care with a hometown touch. Our mission is quality care that allows pet owners to give their pets the long, healthy, happy lives. Our veterinary assistants provide five-star client care and recommend five-star patient care. Our assistant team is a positive bunch that sincerely cares about what they do and the value that they add to the team. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one-year veterinary assisting experience, prefer quality medicine, have high social and organization skills, are comfortable multi-tasking while maintaining a "can-do attitude", should be knowledgeable of vaccines, routine prevention, wellness care, routine lab samples and demonstrate excellent restraint skills. We are looking for an individual committed to remaining on our assistant team. The available position is immediately available and offers flexible scheduling with up to full-time availability. The ideal candidate is able to work most Fridays and Saturdays. Our veterinary assistants perform restraint, obtain histories, educate clients, and prepare lab samples. Our VAs greatly assist doctors and technicians daily.
