We are looking for:
Dermatology Veterinary Assistant Small animals can experience over 160 different conditions that relate to dermatology. If you like a good mystery and the research it takes to come up with answers, Dermatology is the department for you! This team runs point on allergy testing, ear and skin cytology, skin scraping, fine needle aspiration, biopsies and cultures, as well as client education and collaboration . What you'll do: Manage appointments: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc. Assist with "Gold standard" Intradermal and Serum allergy testing on both canines and felines. P erforming biopsies, ear cytology's , skin scraping/ cytology's , fungal disease testing, and various other laboratory testing. Assist with deep ear flushes ( m iddle ear cleaning with video-otoscopy) Learn about and utilize various therapeutic diets for canines and felines based on allergic disease .
