We strive to provide the very best care to every patient we see while providing top-level customer service to our clients. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Technician and/or Assistant to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, great benefits, and working alongside a supportive and talented group. We are seeking a driven and focused candidate to aid us in our goal of helping every patient and client to the best of our abilities. Our ideal candidate can communicate well with clients and staff, loves to multitask, and can work autonomously. This individual will become part of an established team that works together as one in order to provide the best care possible for all of our patients. There is always room for growth and advancement as we continue to grow our practice! Responsibilities for our veterinary technicians include: Venipuncture IV catheter placement Obtaining patient history and assisting in exam rooms Anesthesia induction Monitoring Recovery and surgical assisting Restraint for examinations and procedures Administering vaccinations and medications Caring for hospitalized patients Reporting disease or symptom progression and/or case to doctors Performing physical rehabilitation therapy Performing routine in-hospital diagnostics Ensuring the highest level of facility cleanliness and general assistance around the facility Creating & updating medical records Bandaging and splinting
