Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services, as well as provide well-rounded customer service in a fast moving environment. We are seeking a detailed orientated person to join our team that has a possitive attidue, a good work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Duties
- Assist veterinarian in medical procedures and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
- Administer medications and vaccines under veterinarian supervision
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
- Maintain accurate records of patient care
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Reception duties and direct client communications Qualifications
- Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, and husbandry
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology, anatomy, and common medical procedures
- Experience with animal catheterization, surgical assistance, and dental terminology is ideal but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
