Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in providing care for animals
• Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood and urine analysis
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist with dental cleanings and procedures
• Monitor animals before, during, and after surgery
• Clean and maintain examination rooms, kennels, and equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with animals in the Veterinary field preferred
• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Ability to lift and restrain animals of various sizes and weights
• Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes
