About Us:
CoreVet Veterinary Urgent Care is a privately owned, modern veterinary urgent care clinic serving the Tigard community. We are focused on providing high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care for urgent and emergency cases during daytime and evening hours. Our goal is to bridge the gap between general practice and 24-hour emergency hospitals while maintaining a supportive and team-oriented work environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking both a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing team. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Responsibilities:
Assist with patient triage and urgent care cases Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory diagnostics Obtain and process radiographs Provide compassionate patient care and client communication Maintain accurate medical records Support doctors and team members in daily workflow
Qualifications:
For CVT:
Current CVT license in Oregon (or eligible) Strong technical and anesthesia skills Experience in emergency or urgent care preferred
For Veterinary Assistant:
Minimum 3 years of veterinary clinical experience Proficiency in animal handling and basic technical skills Emergency experience is a plus
