Lead Veterinary Assistant or Technician

Take your career to the next level. Experienced Veterinary Assistant needed for AAHA accredited veterinary clinic located 8 miles west of Gettysburg, PA. Minimum 3 years experience fulfilling all duties associated with assisting in a veterinary practice including but not limited to customer care, in patient and out patient care, surgical assistance and laboratory duties. Successful applicant will have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and assist in lifting patients weighing more than 50 pounds. In addition, since this is a lead position, the candidate would be responsible for assisting in hiring, leading and training the other assisitant and technician team members.
