Job Description
Do you want to work at the best animal hospital in the area? North Memorial Animal Hospital, a large, progressive, four doctor practice specializing in small animals, is looking for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. The job duties include everything from lab work and surgery to dentistry, ultrasound, patient restraint, and client education to name a few. Must be dependable, organized, have excellent communication skills, have basic animal care knowledge, and pass a background check and drug test. We offer great benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, Simple IRA with 3% match, paid vacation, employee pet benefits, and continuing education. We are open some evenings to best serve our growing client base and closed every weekend. Veterinary Technician/Assistant Experience is preferred and candidates that hold a current CVT/RVT license will be given priority, but we are willing to train the right individual. At North Memorial Animal Hospital, we believe in building a strong, well-rounded team, so all staff members are cross-trained to work in both technician and receptionist roles. This allows our team to better support one another while providing excellent patient and client care. Salary is based upon experience level.
