Job Description

Highgrove Veterinary Hospital is a single Dr. practice located in Nottingham Pennsylvania that was established in 2003. Dr Foster started as a large animal veterinarian but has since dedicated his time to small animal medicine. As a smaller veterinary clinic we take pride in our ability to provide excellent customer service and compassionate care. We are looking to add a motivated, conscientious, and caring veterinary professional to our team.
Duties include:
  • Assisting Veterinarian with office visits and exams
  • Dispensing medications, assisting with diagnostic procedures, medical treatments and surgery preparations
  • Assisting Receptionist with scheduling appointments, telephone communications and customer service
Essential Skills:
  • A love for animals and the ability to warmly welcome and compassionately care for a wide variety of pets and their owners
  • Excellent client communication skills and a commitment to outstanding client service
  • Positive energetic attitude with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover the hospital's open hours, including
Saturdays Required Experience:
  • Experience working in a veterinary hospital and/or completion of a Veterinary Science or Veterinary Assistant program is essential
Current Hours of Operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00-5:00 Wednesday and Saturday 8:00-12:00
