Quakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Overnight Veterinary Assistants to join our small animal team!

As a 24/7 hospital, our overnight team is essentialsupporting emergency cases, monitoring hospitalized patients, and ensuring every pet receives the care they need around the clock.

What Youll DoAs an Overnight Veterinary Assistant, youll be a key part of our after-hours care teamsupporting veterinarians and technicians while helping ensure patients remain stable, comfortable, and well cared for through the night.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatmentsSafely restraining and handling pets with care and confidencePerforming basic in-house lab work, nail trims, and sample collection (urine/fecal)Administering subcutaneous fluids, SQ injections, and oral medicationsPreparing and maintaining surgical suites and hospital equipmentTaking radiographs under the direction of a doctor or technicianAccurately filling prescriptions and managing refill requestsCommunicating clearly with clients to provide support and educationEntering patient notes and charges into the hospital database systemSchedule & AvailabilityWe offer full-time and part-time overnight positions.

Typical shifts include:7:00 PM 7:00 AM5:00 PM 3:00 AMOvernight team members play a vital role in continuous patient care and emergency response.

What Were Looking ForExperience working with and restraining animals (preferred)Strong customer service skills (required)Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced or emergency settingA self-starter who can work independently overnight while still collaborating with the teamPhysical ability to:
