Quakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is looking for compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistants to join our small animal team!

What Youll DoAs a Veterinary Assistant, youll be a vital part of our care teamsupporting our doctors and technicians while ensuring pets and their owners feel comfortable and cared for.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatmentsSafely handling and restraining pets with compassion and carePerforming basic lab work, nail trims, and sample collection (urine/fecal)Administering subcutaneous fluids, SQ injections, and oral medicationsPreparing and maintaining surgical suites and hospital equipmentTaking radiographs under the direction of a doctor or technicianFilling prescriptions and managing refill requests accuratelyCommunicating clearly with clients to provide excellent service and educationEntering patient notes and charges into our database systemSchedule & AvailabilityWe offer full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling.
Because we are a 24/7 facility, team members should expect:
Morning and evening shifts (MondaySunday)A weekly weekend shift commitmentRotating on-call shiftsAvailability for select holidaysWhat Were Looking ForExperience working with animals (preferred)Strong customer service skills (required)Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentA team player who can also work independentlyPhysical ability to:
