Job Overview:

Join our dedicated team at Critter Care Veterinary Hospital, a dynamic three-doctor veterinary clinic, as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT) or Veterinary Assistant. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our animal patients. Collaborate closely with our veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of veterinary care.

Responsibilities:

Perform animal catheterization for medical procedures Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic Administer medications under veterinary supervision Monitor animal behavior and report any changes to the veterinary team Assist with X-Ray procedures and laboratory tests Utilize knowledge of animal physiology in daily tasks

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant is highly desirable Proficiency in animal handling techniques and restraint methods Familiarity with X-Ray procedures and PPE Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities Availability to work every other Saturday Morning and evening shifts are available
