Job Description
East Bradford Veterinary Hospital is a fast growing, family-owned, multi-doctor companion and exotics animal hospital. Built on a foundation of patient-first care, our warm and supportive environment encourages team members skills and capabilities. Currently, w e are in need of a new Full-time or Part-time Veterinary Technician. Full-time team members are eligible for Medical and Dental Insurance, a 401(k) with a guaranteed contribution from the hospital, employee pet discount, Paid Time Off that includes hours for holidays and vacation, and allocations for Continuing Education. Applicants should be able to lift 50lb unassisted, be able to successfully and safely hold patients during exams and procedures. In addition, remain calm in stressful situations, demonstrate compassion and provide attention to detail and follow procedures. Applicants will also be able to assist doctors during physical exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and other tasks as assigned. An ideal candidate will have some experience with surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, digital dental and general radiology, pharmacology, clinical laboratory tests, and common disease processes.
