What You'll Do As an Overnight Veterinary Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations by supporting our

Technicians and Doctors:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment through routine cleaning and disinfection Assist with general patient care and monitoring, including ER and ICU support Safely restrain patients for exams, treatments, and diagnostics Support care for high-risk and isolation patients (with appropriate training/clearance) Perform basic laboratory tests (PCV/TS, CBC, chemistries, urinalysis, blood glucose, etc.) Assist with radiographs for stable patients (with proper training/clearance) Stock and organize medical supplies throughout the hospital Manage laundry, waste disposal (including medical waste), and kennel upkeep Contribute to overall team efficiency and patient comfort during overnight hours What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Prior veterinary or animal care experience strongly encouraged Experience with canine/feline restraint preferred Basic lab skills and introductory radiology safety knowledge a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills A proactive, positive, "can-do" attitude Ability to lift, pull, or move up to 35 lbs. Flexibility to work overnights, weekends, and rotating holidays Pre-Veterinary, Animal Science, or Veterinary Technician students/graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Why Join OSVS?
