Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Vet Tech Assistant/Puppy Hugger to join our dynamic team. This WEEKEND paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in animal care, veterinary procedures, and clinic operations. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, a proactive attitude, and a desire to learn about veterinary practices while providing compassionate support to our furry patients.
TRAVEL OVER WEEKENDS REQUIRED.
Responsibilities Educate Pet Parents on vaccination and products appropriate for their pets. Animal handling, restraint, and basic medical procedures to ensure safety and comfort for pets during vaccinations Provide comfort and affection to puppies and other animals, acting as a friendly "puppy hugger" to promote stress reduction. Maintain documentation of vaccinations, products & tests.
