We are looking for an enthusiastic and animal-loving Entry-Level Vet Tech Assistant / Puppy Hugger to join our dynamic weekend team! This is a
PAID WEEKEND
POSITION and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary medicine. No previous veterinary experience required — we will train the right person!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide compassionate handling, restraint, and support for dogs, cats, puppies, and other animals. Assist with basic veterinary procedures and vaccinations while prioritizing pet safety and comfort. Provide comfort, affection, and reassurance to puppies and pets — yes, puppy hugs are part of the job! Educate pet parents about vaccination packages and preventative products appropriate for their pets. Accurately document vaccinations, products, and tests. Work as part of a team to create a positive experience for every pet parent and pet. Help create the magic moments that make ShotVet different!
