Performance Equine Vets is seeking dependable, motivated Overnight Hospital Assistants to join our full-service equine hospital in Aiken, South Carolina. While the rest of the world sleeps, our overnight team plays an essential role in keeping hospitalized horses safe, comfortable, and cared for. Responsibilities include monitoring hospitalized patients, administering scheduled medications and treatments under veterinary direction, recording accurate patient information, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in a horse's condition, assisting with emergency admissions and procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked hospital. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, compassionate, and confident handling horses. Equine experience is required; veterinary or hospital experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. Applicants must be comfortable working independently while communicating closely with veterinarians and the hospital team.
