We are proud to offer exceptional medical and surgical care for dogs and cats, with a focus on client education and dedication to strengthening the human-animal bond. Our ideal team member would have at least 2 years experience, demonstrate a commitment to outstanding patient care and customer service, have a desire to learn and grow as a veterinary healthcare professional, and display a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Applicant must be detail-oriented and have strong communication skills. Our entire staff is Fear Free Certified (we provide training). Duties include, but are not limited to: doctor support, in-patient care, client education, surgical/exam room assistance, anesthesia preparation, monitoring and recovery, dental prophylaxis, in-house lab work, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, animal restraint, radiography, and medication administration and prescription handling. Must be able to utilize a computerized records system (e-Vet Practice familiarity is a plus). Responsibilities may include some weekend hours on an as-needed basis for hospitalized patients (rarely) Reliability is a MUST. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, frequent crouching/kneeling, and the ability to lift 40 pounds.
