Job Description
Looking for a veterinary assistant/technician with at least one (1) year of experience in the veterinarian field! Looking for someone with an affinity for pet health, great attention to details, awesome communication and listening skills, speedy keyboarding proficiency, and a love for all animals. Individual must be able to uphold our core values of integrity, respect, consistency and compassion to help enrich the lives of all our patients and clients. The purpose of this position is to improve the quality patient care by assisting veterinarians with patient care and treatment. Assistants/Technicians monitor hospitalized pets, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine, in-house lab work, educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, educate clients on appropriate vaccines and be able to pull up and administer vaccines, and assist/monitor with surgical procedures. Must be able to work some holiday hours.
