Veterinary Surgical Assistant Humane Society Spay & Neuter Clinic - Columbia, SC Are you an experienced veterinary assistant who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment? The Humane Society Spay & Neuter Clinic is seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgical Assistant to join our high-volume, mission-driven team dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and improving animal welfare in our community. What You'll Do Assist veterinarian with high-volume spay/neuter surgeries Prepare patients for surgery, including anesthesia induction and monitoring Monitor patients during recovery Maintain accurate medical records Assist with patient intake and discharge Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient surgical environment Work closely with a team committed to providing high-quality, affordable care Qualifications Veterinary technician experience required Previous surgical and anesthesia experience required Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic setting Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Benefits of this position include: Four-day work week
Schedule:
