Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:

As part of our veterinary team, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Safely and compassionately handling and restraining pets during exams and proceduresTriaging incoming patients and assisting with patient flowCollecting and processing laboratory samples and assisting with diagnostic testingTaking and assisting with radiographs (x-rays) and other diagnostic imagingProviding nursing care for medical and hospitalized patients with a range of conditions and stability levelsAdministering medications and treatments as directedCommunicating clearly and compassionately with clients regarding treatment plans and patient careAssisting with surgical preparation, surgical support, and anesthetic monitoringQualificationsWe're looking for a motivated Veterinary Assistant who's ready to grow with a supportive, fast-paced team!

Prior veterinary experience preferred (1+ year ideal), but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and build their skillsCompassionate, calm under pressure, and a true team player who thrives in a collaborative environmentStrong communicator with excellent multitasking skills and a positive, can-do attitudeComfortable and confident handling and safely restraining pets of all sizes and temperamentsHands-on experience with sample collection, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with laboratory testing and radiographsSurgical and anesthesia experience is a strong plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate!

Self-motivated and eager to continue expanding knowledge and advancing clinical skillsWe're looking for someone who enjoys both the medical and hands-on aspects of veterinary care and wants to be part of a team that supports learning, growth, and high-quality patient care.
Additional InformationPay Range:
 $18-$21 based on experience
