We are a single vet practice located in Brandon, SD. We are currently seeking a Veterinary Assistant with high school diploma and prior animal experience. In addition to pet health care and surgeries, we offer ultrasound, digital x-ray, laser surgery, laser therapy, and in house diagnostics such as Abaxis Hematology and Chemistry Analyzer, Fecal Imagyst, Urinalysis. Other Responsibilities:
Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms Restrain patients Process samples in house (Abaxis HM5, Abaxis VetscanVS2, Fecal Imagyst, Urine analyzers, Cytology) Assist with diagnostic imaging (Digital radiographs, Digital ultrasound, Thermal Scans) Perform laser therapy Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable) Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients Provide compassionate patient careSchedule and Benefits:
