Responsibilities included but not limited to: Greeting clients/patients Ability to learn practice's computer software (AVImark) Processing appointments (Processing appointments includes taking history, relaying information from vet to client, preparing vaccines, checking in surgery patients) Answering client inquiries about services/products

Other Responsibilities:

Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms Restrain patients Process samples in house (Abaxis HM5, Abaxis VetscanVS2, Fecal Imagyst, Urine analyzers, Cytology) Assist with diagnostic imaging (Digital radiographs, Digital ultrasound, Thermal Scans) Perform laser therapy Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable) Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients Provide compassionate patient care
