Job Description

  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess knowledge in veterinary practices and terminology.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures
  • Handle and restrain animals during treatment
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and kennels
  • Provide compassionate care to animals in the clinic
  • Monitor animal behavior and condition
  • Qualifications:
  • Experience in animal care, handling, or veterinary settings
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal physiology
  • Ability to work with a variety of animals including equine and pets
  • Familiarity with pet sitting and pet care practices
  • Proficiency in handling animals safely and effectively
  • Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Equine experience
  • Laboratory skills
