Our 3 doctor practice is fast paced, progressive, and team orientated. The ideal candidate would be compassionate, hardworking, detail-orientated, and looking for a long-term career. We are open M-F 7:00-6:00 and every 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday 9:00-12:00. Typical schedule for full time employees would be 37-40 hours and part time employees 20-36 hours. Weekend shifts and occasional kennel shifts included.

Some Responsibilities Include:

Assisting veterinarian with patient care: in-patient, outpatient, and surgical Understands and clearly communicates various procedures & protocols, treatment recommendations, etc. to clients Perform diagnostic care, ie. in-house and outside laboratory testing, taking radiographs, blood pressure, ECG readings, etc. Be proficient in venipuncture and performing injections accordingly Assist throughout the hospital with various tasks as needed Assist with answering phone calls and scheduling appointments accordingly

Requirements:

Must be available to work most Saturdays and occasional kennel shifts Must be able to lift up to 40lbs Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time Must be a team player, well-spoken, and able to approach his/her job duties in a mature manner We are a family oriented team who works hard at creating a great work environment for our employees and a welcoming environment for our clients and patients.
