Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare. This role is essential in providing support to veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. The Veterinary Assistant will be responsible for assisting with medical procedures, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and medical procedures. Handle and restrain animals safely during treatments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic. Provide basic animal care, including feeding, bathing, and exercising animals. Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any changes to the veterinarian. Manage front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries. Maintain accurate records of patient information using veterinary terminology. Qualifications Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
